Agent of record definition

Agent of record means, for the purposes of each eligible crop insurance contract, any agent or subagent who: (1) for a new or revised application, signs the application; and (2) for any crop year, signs the acreage or similar reports, as applicable. Each eligible crop insurance contract has at least one, and may have multiple, agents of record. All agents of record for each eligible crop insurance contract shall be reported by the Company, in accordance with Appendix III.
Agent of record means a legally eligible person or entity designated by an Enrolling Unit to serve as its insurance agent, broker or producer and that UnitedHealthcare may compensate under the terms of this Agreement.
Agent of record means, for the purposes of each eligible livestock price insurance contract, any agent or subagent who: (1) for a new or revised application, signs the application; and (2) for any reinsurance year, signs the production or similar reports, as applicable. Each eligible livestock price insurance contract has at least one, and may have multiple, agents of record. All agents of record for each eligible livestock price insurance contract shall be reported by the Company, in accordance with Appendix III.

Examples of Agent of record in a sentence

  • In its sole discretion, UnitedHealthcare will recognize a request to change an Agent of Record only if it is in writing and is from the Enrolling Unit, and not from Agent or any other person.

  • Notwithstanding the forgoing, UnitedHealthcare may, in good faith, change an Enrolling Unit’s Agent of Record at any time for any reason in accordance with applicable law and the following provisions are not intended to limit this right in any way.

  • If an Enrolling Unit asks UnitedHealthcare to change its Agent of Record, UnitedHealthcare will determine the effective date of the change in its sole discretion.

  • UnitedHealthcare will consider Agent to be Agent of Record for every Enrolling Unit sold by Agent under the terms of this Agreement unless and until an Enrolling Unit asks UnitedHealthcare to change its Agent of Record to a different agent.

  • Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement, no commission shall be paid to Agent for any group on or after the date the group withdraws its appointment of Agency/Agent as the group’s Agent of Record, whether by affirmative withdrawal or by appointment of another agency or agent as Agent of Record for such group.


More Definitions of Agent of record

Agent of record means the designated individual person that shall be legally accountable for all aspects of proper transacting of specified Commission business within the respective business entity. If the designated individual is not a legal representative of the business entity, an Agent of Record Authorization form shall be required to designate that individual as the Agent of Record.
