Alternative Care Settings definition

Alternative Care Settings means sites or groups of practitioners that provide care to members under contract with a PHP or CCO, including urgent care centers, hospice, birthing centers, out-placed medical teams in community or mobile health care facilities, long-term care facilities, and outpatient surgical centers.
