A.M. Best definition

A.M. Best. A.M. Best Company, Inc. or its successors in interest. If neither A.M. Best nor any successor remains in existence, “A.M. Best” shall be deemed to refer to such other nationally recognized statistical rating agency or other comparable Person reasonably designated by the Depositor, notice of which designation shall be given to the Trustee, the Certificate Administrator, the Master Servicer and the Special Servicer and specific ratings of A.M. Best herein referenced shall be deemed to refer to the equivalent ratings (as reasonably determined by the Depositor) of the party so designated.

A.M. Best means A.M. Best Company, Inc.

A.M. Best means A. M. Best Company, Inc. and any successor rating agency.

Examples of A.M. Best in a sentence

All policies held by Vendor to adhere to this term shall be written by a carrier with a financial size category of VII and at least a rating of “A-” by A.M. Best Key Rating Guide.
The insurance policy shall be written by an insurance company with a rating of not less than A- by AM Best.
If such coverage is not placed with the incumbent insurance carriers using the policies that were in place at the time of the change of control or insolvency event, the Tail Policy shall be substantially comparable in scope and amount as the expiring policies, and the insurance carriers for the Tail Policy shall have an AM Best rating that is the same or better than the AM Best ratings of the expiring policies.
All policies of insurance required herein shall be issued by insurer(s) authorized to issue insurance policies by the State of California and who are A.M. Best rated at least A-/VII.
Upon Client’s written request from time to time, Just shall promptly furnish to Client a certificate of insurance or other evidence of the required insurance or qualification to self-insurance in accordance with the requirements of this Section 12.1. Each insurance policy that is required under this Agreement shall be obtained from an insurance carrier with an A.M. Best or equivalent rating of at least A- VII or an S&P rating of A.

A.M. Best means A.M. Best & Company.

A.M. Best means A.M. Best Company, together with any Person succeeding thereto by merger, consolidation or acquisition of all or substantially all of its assets, including substantially all of its business of rating insurance companies.

A.M. Best means A.M. Best Company, Inc or any successor or transferor of its rating business;

A.M. Best means AM Best Company Inc. or any successor to its rating business;

A.M. Best means A.M. Best Company or any successor thereto. “Amended and Restated Purchase Agreement” means the Amended and Restated Purchase Agreement dated as of the Closing Date among AIG, the UST and the FRBNY, substantially in the form of Exhibit A.

A.M. Best has the meaning specified in Section 6.05(a).
