Approved Devices definition

Approved Devices means Approved Set-Top Boxes and Approved IP Devices.
Approved Devices means individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled Xbox Consoles, Personal Computers, Zunes and Tablets, each of which are designed to implement the Usage Rules and support the Approved Format, including, without limitation, the Security Solution encompassed within the Approved Format, the Approved Transmission Means, and the Content Protection Obligations and Requirements set forth in Schedule C, as applicable. The parties acknowledge and agree that any device that is not an Xbox Console, a Personal Computer or a Zune, including, without limitation, other game consoles, set-top-boxes, portable media devices and mobile phones that do not run Zune-branded applications, shall not be an “Approved Device.”
Approved Devices means each of the devices listed on the Schedule of Approved Devices as the same may be updated and amended (or deemed updated or amended) from time to time in accordance with Section 2.6 (Approved Devices) of this Agreement;

Examples of Approved Devices in a sentence

  • Licensee shall investigate in good faith the updating of all Approved Devices shipped to users before December 31, 2011 with a view to disabling HD analogue outputs on such devices.

  • In accordance with industry agreements, all Approved Devices manufactured and sold (by the original manufacturer) after December 31, 2011 shall limit (e.g. down-scale) analogue outputs for decrypted protected Included Programs to standard definition at a resolution no greater than 720X480 or 720 X 576, i.e. shall disable High Definition (HD) analogue outputs.

  • Licensee shall also have the right to allow any Customers to order the delivery of Included Programs from Licensee’s websites to Approved Devices via the Licensed Service for viewing in accordance with the terms hereof.

  • Included Programs and licenses shall only be delivered by Licensee to Approved Devices associated with verified credentials.

  • HD Analogue Sunset, New Models after December 31, 2010 In accordance with industry agreement, Licensee shall NOT deploy Approved Devices (supporting HD analogue outputs which cannot be disabled during the rendering of Included Programs) that are NOT models manufactured and being sold (by the original manufacturer) before December 31, 2010.


More Definitions of Approved Devices

Approved Devices means each Approved IP Device and Approved Set-Top Box, collectively.
Approved Devices means any Approved Set Top Box, Connected TV, Mobile Phone, or Tablet that runs on an Approved Operating System and satisfies the Content Protection Requirements and Usage Rules set forth in Schedules C and U, attached hereto.
