approved facility definition

approved facility means any private practice, hospital, clinic or other health facility in Namibia defined in section 1 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994), approved by the Council for the purpose of the training of hearing aid acoustics interns, and “facility” has a corresponding meaning;
approved facility means any laboratory, hospital, clinic, private practice or other health facility in Namibia defined in section 1 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994) and which has been approved by the Council for the purpose of the training of medical technology interns;
approved facility means a solid or hazardous waste dis- posal facility with an approved plan of operation under s. 289.30 or a solid waste disposal facility initially licensed within 3 years prior to May 21, 1978, whose owner successfully applies, within 2 years after May 21, 1978, for a determination by the department that the facility’s design and plan of operation comply substan- tially with the requirements necessary for plan approval under s. 289.30.
