Availability Assessment Hours definition

Availability Assessment Hours or “AAH” has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
Availability Assessment Hours means the five consecutive hour period pre-defined by CAISO pursuant to the CAISO Tariff as the Availability Assessment Hours for resources providing system resource adequacy for the applicable month of the Delivery Term. The Parties acknowledge that, as of the Effective Date, XXXXX has determined the Availability Assessment Hours for resources providing system resource adequacy are (a) for the months of March through May of the Delivery Term, hour ending (“HE”) 1800 through HE 2200 (i.e., 5 consecutive hours per day between 5 PM – 10 PM), Monday through Saturday (6 days per week), and (b) for all other months of the Delivery Term, HE 1700 through HE 2100 (i.e., 5 consecutive hours per day between 4 PM - 9 PM), Monday through Saturday (6 days per week).

Examples of Availability Assessment Hours in a sentence

  • The Availability Assessment Hours for a Flexible RA Resource shall be the same period as the must-offer obligation for the Flexible Capacity Category that is designated on the Resource Flexible RA Capacity Plan for that month, as set forth in Section 40.10.6.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.
