Band Council means a council of the band as defined in subsection 2 (1) of the Indian Act (Canada); (“conseil de bande”) “chief of police” means a chief of police of a police service maintained by a police service board or the Commissioner, and

More Definitions of Band Council
Band Council means those MLCN Members elected pursuant to this Act to sit as Chief and Council each of whom has voice and vote and a quorum of whom are empowered to act on behalf of and for the benefit of the First Nation.
