Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance definition

Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance means the benefit determined under ARTICLE IIA of the Plan and payable at the times and in the forms set forth in ARTICLE IIC of the Plan. The Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance shall be comprised of the Grandfathered Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance, if any, and the remaining portion of such Allowance.
Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance means the benefit determined under Article II, A hereof and payable at the time and in the manner set forth in Article II, C, provided, that payment to a Retired Employee in any form shall be the Actuarial Equivalent of a Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance expressed as a benefit payable in equal monthly payments during a twelve (12) month period for the life of the Retired Employee commencing at the Retired Employee's Normal Retirement Age.

  • In the event a Grandfathered Employee shall not have elected an Optional Payment method with respect to his Grandfathered Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance, any such notification shall specify the Beneficiary to whom payment of the Single Sum Payment shall be made in the event the Employee dies after his Date of Retirement and prior to his BEP Benefit Commencement Date.

  • The Administrator shall have the full power and authority to grant or deny requests for payment of a Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance in accordance with a form of distribution authorized under the Retirement Plan and to grant or deny requests for payment of a Benefit Equalization Profit-Sharing Allowance in accordance with a form of distribution authorized under the Profit-Sharing Plan to the extent permitted under Code §409A.

  • The Management Committee for Employee Benefits shall have the full power and authority to grant or deny requests for payment of a Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance, Benefit Equalization Combined Allowance or Benefit Equalization Profit-Sharing Allowance by the Administrator.

  • Application or Notification for Payment of Allowances: An application for retirement pursuant to Paragraph G2.07 of Part I and Paragraph S2.07 of Part II of the Retirement Plan shall be deemed notification to the Administrator of the BEP Benefit Commencement Date of a Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance, Benefit Equalization Combined Allowance (or other benefit) in accordance with the terms of this Plan.

  • The Administrator shall have the full power and authority to grant or deny requests for payment of a Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance or Benefit Equalization Combined Allowance in accordance with a form of distribution authorized under the Retirement Plan and to grant or deny requests for payment of a Benefit Equalization Profit-Sharing Allowance in accordance with a form of distribution authorized under the Profit-Sharing Plan to the extent permitted under Section 409A of the Code.

  • The term “Change of Control” shall have the meaning set forth in the PMI BEP with respect to an Eligible Employee’s Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance that is not a Grandfathered Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance (as defined in the PMI BEP).

Related to Benefit Equalization Retirement Allowance

  • Retirement allowance means the retirement payments to which a member is entitled.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Accrued Benefit have the meanings specified in ERISA.

  • SERP Benefit means the benefit described in Section 5.1.

  • Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Maximum Benefit means the maximum benefit amount of each of the benefits covered under this Policy as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Disability Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 8.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.

  • disability living allowance means a disability living allowance under section 71 of the SSCBA;

  • Disability allowance means monthly payments during

  • superannuation benefit means any payment, other than a refund of contributions, made to a dentist by virtue of the application of the (a) National Health Service Pension Scheme Regulations 1995; or (b) the National Health Service Superannuation Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 1995 or (c) the corresponding provisions of the law in force in Northern Ireland; as a result of his providing general dental services;

  • Projected Annual Benefit means the annual retirement benefit (adjusted to an actuarially equivalent straight life annuity if such benefit is expressed in a form other than a straight life annuity or qualified joint and survivor annuity) to which the Member would be entitled under the terms of the plan assuming:

  • Pension Benefit means a pension, annuity, gratuity or similar allowance which is payable—

  • Change in Control Benefit means the benefit set forth in Section 4.1 below.

  • Annual Benefit Limit means the maximum amount of benefits paid by the Company to the Policy Holder in a Policy Year irrespective of whether any limits of any benefit items stated in the Benefit Schedule have been reached. The Annual Benefit Limit is counted afresh in a new Policy Year.
