Bypass Vent Stack definition

Bypass Vent Stack means each vent stack located between the Coke Oven battery common tunnel and each HRSG.
Bypass Vent Stack means each vent stack located between the coke oven battery common tunnel and each HRSG at the Facilities. In HNCC’s Construction Permit – PSD PTI 07-00511, Bypass Vent Stacks are termed “bypass vents,” and are identified as Stacks 1-10. In GECC’s Construction Permit -- PSD Approval No. 06070020, issued March 13, 2008, these vent stacks are termed “waste heat stacks,” and are identified as Stacks 1-6.

  • If the Bypass Venting Incident is caused by a HRSG Outage, Defendants need only reduce the coal charged to the Ovens under the affected Bypass Vent Stack; and b.

  • Within five years of the Effective Date of this Consent Decree, Defendants shall conduct one stack test measuring the emission rate of VOCs at the Main Stack and at least one Bypass Vent Stack in accordance with the applicable requirements of 40 C.F.R. Part 60, Appendix A.

  • Defendants shall use best efforts to attempt to certify the CEMS on the first, and in any event, no later than the second, Scheduled HRSG Maintenance following installation of the CEMS associated with the Bypass Vent Stack on which the CEMS is located.

  • If IHCC is unable to take a Coke Oven out of service without causing Bypass Venting or causing damage to Ovens under or adjacent to a Bypass Vent Stack, IHCC may leave that Oven in service until it can take that Oven out of service without causing Bypass Venting or causing damage to Ovens under or adjacent to a Bypass Vent Stack.

  • For each failure to perform Bypass Vent Stack and Main Stack testing in accordance with Paragraph 22, IHCC and Cokenergy shall each pay one-half of: $37,500.

  • Supplemental to the dP cells previously installed, as of Q1 2018, additional common tunnel differential pressure (DP) cells have been installed at approximately the midpoint between each Bypass Vent Stack on each respective battery.

  • Fossil fuel-fired means, with regard to a unit:

  • Intermittent stream means a well-defined channel that contains water for only part of the year, typically during winter and spring when the aquatic bed is below the water table. The flow may be heavily supplemented by stormwater runoff. An intermittent stream often lacks the biological and hydrological characteristics commonly associated with the continuous conveyance of water.

  • Bypass means the intentional diversion of waste streams from any portion of the treatment facility. "Summer" shall be considered to be the period from May 1 through October 31.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per

  • Combustion turbine means an enclosed fossil or other fuel-fired device that is comprised of a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine, and in which the flue gas resulting from the combustion of fuel in the combustor passes through the turbine, rotating the turbine.

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Distribution center means a building or structure used primarily for the storage of goods which are intended for subsequent shipment to retail outlets. Distribution center does not mean a building or structure used primarily to store raw agricultural products, used primarily by a manufacturer to store goods to be used in the manufacturing process, used primarily for the storage of petroleum products, or used for the retail sale of goods.

  • Ground water means water below the land surface in a zone of saturation.

  • Geothermal fluid means water in any form at temperatures greater than 120

  • water meter means any apparatus for measuring or showing the volume of water supplied to, or of effluent discharged from any premises;

  • Bulk gasoline terminal means a gasoline storage facility which receives gasoline from its supply source primarily by pipeline, ship, or barge, and delivers gasoline to bulk gasoline plants or to commercial or retail accounts primarily by tank truck; and has an average daily throughput of more than 76,000 liters (20,000 gallons) of gasoline.

  • Manufactured dwelling park means a place where four or more manufactured dwellings

  • Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.

  • Gasification means the substoichiometric oxidation or steam reformation of a substance to produce a gaseous mixture containing two or more of the following: (i) oxides of carbon; (ii) methane; and (iii) hydrogen;

  • Pilot or "Payment in Lieu of Tax" shall mean any payment made to the Agency or an affected tax jurisdiction equal to all or a portion of the real property taxes or other taxes which would have been levied by or on behalf of an affected tax jurisdiction with respect to a project but for tax exemption obtained by reason of the involvement of the Agency in such project, but such term shall not include Agency fees.

  • CO2 means carbon dioxide.

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Behind The Meter Generation shall refer to a generation unit that delivers energy to load without using the Transmission System or any distribution facilities (unless the entity that owns or leases the distribution facilities has consented to such use of the distribution facilities and such consent has been demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Office of the Interconnection); provided, however, that Behind The Meter Generation does not include (i) at any time, any portion of such generating unit’s capacity that is designated as a Generation Capacity Resource; or (ii) in an hour, any portion of the output of such generating unit that is sold to another entity for consumption at another electrical location or into the PJM Interchange Energy Market.

  • Generator Operator means the Person that Operates the Generating Facility and performs the functions of supplying electric energy and interconnected operations services within the meaning of the NERC Reliability Standards.

  • Terminal means a device authorized by a Party Lottery to function in an on-line, interactive mode with the lottery's computer gaming system for the purpose of issuing lottery tickets and entering, receiving, and processing lottery transactions, including purchases, validating tickets, and transmitting reports.

  • Supply Pipe means any part of a service pipe which a water undertaker could not be, or have been required to lay under section 46 of the Water Industry Act 1991; and

  • Fuel cell means an energy converter transforming chemical energy (input) into electrical energy (output) or vice versa.

  • Basal area means the effective surface area available to transmit the treated effluent from the filter media in a mound system into the in-situ receiving soils. The perimeter is measured at the interface of the imported fill material and in-situ soil. On sloping sites, only the area down-gradient from the up-slope edge of the distribution media may be included in this calculation.

  • Residual disinfectant concentration means the concentration of disinfectant measured in mg/L in a representative sample of water.
