CAIR NOx unit definition

CAIR NOx unit means a unit that is subject to the CAIR NOx annual trading program under section 1 of this rule and, except for purposes of sections 3 and 8 of this rule, a CAIR NOx opt-in unit under section 12 of this rule.

• The owner or operator of a CAIR NOx unit shall comply with requirements of 40 CFR 75.73(c) and (e) and, for a unit for which a CAIR opt-in permit application is submitted and not withdrawn and a CAIR opt-in permit is not yet issued or denied under paragraphs (D) and (E)(1) of rule 3745-109-08 of the Administrative Code.
