Cannabis Production Facility definition

Cannabis Production Facility means a facility providing for the production, storage, processing and distribution of cannabis and which is owned or operated by a licensed cannabis producer or distributor as per the Cannabis Act (Bill C-45) as amended and replaced from time to time. Cannabis Production Facility means a building used, designed or intended for growing, cultivation, producing, testing, destroying, storing or distribution, excluding retail sales, of marijuana or cannabis and for the purposes of this by-law is defined as a non-residential use;

• A special permit authorizing the establishment of a Cannabis Retail Store or Cannabis Production Facility shall be valid only for the licensed or registered entity to which the special permit was issued, and only for the site on which the Cannabis Retail Store or Cannabis Production Facility has been authorized by special permit.

Cannabis Production Facility means a building, structure, or part thereof, designed, used, or intended to be used for any one or more of the following: cultivation, propagation, production, processing, harvesting, testing, alteration, destruction, storage, packaging, shipment, or distribution of cannabis for medical or recreational purposes in accordance with the requirements of a licence as issued by Health Canada in accordance with the Cannabis Regulations SOR/2018-144, to the Cannabis Act, SC 2018, c 16, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, SC 1996, c 19, and the Food and Drugs Act, RSC 1985, c F-27, as amended from time to time, or any successors thereto.
