Canonically Resident definition

Canonically Resident means resident in a specified diocese for the purposes of the Canons of The Episcopal Church, as established by ordination to that diocese or letters dimissory accepted by that diocese.

  • All other Clerics Canonically Resident in the Diocese and residing in the Deanery and all communicants in good standing of The Episcopal Church registered in a congregation in the Deanery shall have seat and voice, but not vote.Sec.

  • Substantially relates means the nature of criminal conduct for which the person was convicted has a direct bearing on the fitness or ability to perform one or more of the duties or responsibilities necessarily related to the occupation; and
