Cardiology Field definition

Cardiology Field means the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart, other than the diagnosis or treatment of malfunctions or diseases of the coronary vasculature by use of a catheter system employing a balloon, which excepted applications shall include percutaneous coronary angioplasty.
Cardiology Field means that branch of medicine that deals with diagnosis and/or treatment of disorders and/or diseases of or related to the heart and/or vascular systems, including use of diagnosis tests such as, for example, CardioPredict, C-GAAP and other similar tests, with respect thereto.
Cardiology Field has the meaning set forth in the IMA License Agreement.

  • Interpace shall have […***…] days from its receipt of the C-GAAP Non Cardiology Commercialization Notice to advise Transgenomic, in writing, if it desires to collaborate with Transgenomic on the commercialization of C-GAAP outside of the Cardiology Field and/or outside of the United States, as applicable.

  • For clarification, Interpace’s marketing and promotional efforts are not in any way limited to cardiologists and Details and other promotional efforts may be geared to primary care physicians, or other physicians and targets generally, who are treating patients with needs in the Cardiology Field in the United States.

  • Transgenomic hereby appoints Interpace as its exclusive marketer and promoter of CardioPredict (and, if applicable, C-GAAP pursuant to Section 2.8 below) (including Variations as mutually agreed by the Parties) solely in the Cardiology Field and solely in the United States during the Term in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • In the event that Target shall not have brought such an action against such and infringer, or obtained the discontinuance of such infringement, within ninety (90) days of receiving written notice by Target of such an infringement, CaRDiMa shall have the right, subject to Target's approval, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, to enforce patents or rights to know-how within the Target Technology against infringers of such patents or rights to know-how within the CaRDiMa Field or Cardiology Field.

For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Assistive technology service means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. The term includes:

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, know-how, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith that are owned or controlled by Licensor, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno-associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Licensed Fields of Use means the fields of use identified in Appendix B.

  • Pre-Licensed Therapist means an individual who has obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy and is registered with the BBS as an Associate CSW or MFT Intern acquiring hours for licensing. An individual’s registration is subject to regulations adopted by the BBS.

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • Assistive technology means the devices, aids, controls, supplies, or appliances described in OAR 411-300-0150 that are purchased to provide support for a child and replace the need for direct interventions to enable self-direction of care and maximize independence of the child.

  • Clinical Trials means a controlled study in humans of the safety or efficacy of a Product, and includes, without limitation, such clinical trials as are designed to support expanded labeling or to satisfy the requirements of an Agency in connection with any Product Approval and any other human study used in research and Development of a Product.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Marihuana-infused product means a topical formulation, tincture, beverage, edible substance, or similar product containing marihuana and other ingredients and that is intended for human consumption.

  • X-ray field means that area of the intersection of the useful beam and any one of the set of planes parallel to and including the plane of the image receptor, whose perimeter is the locus of points at which the exposure rate is one-fourth of the maximum in the intersection.

  • Medical marijuana product means a product that contains cannabinoids that have been extracted from plant material or the resin therefrom by physical or chemical means and is intended for administration to a licensed patient, including but not limited to concentrates, oils, tinctures, edibles, pills, topical forms, gels, creams, and other derivative forms, except that this term does not include live plant forms.

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Licensed Territory means worldwide.
