Career technical education program definition

Career technical education program means a program of vocational or technical training or retraining which is operated at the postsecondary level and is designed to prepare persons for gainful employment.
Career technical education program means collegiate-level coursework that is designed to prepare persons for entrance into and employment stability and advancement in specific occupations or clusters of closely related occupations. Career Technical Education programs result in the achievement of a state-approved certificate of completion, associate of applied science degree or associate of applied science degree option.
