Casing Diameter definition

Casing Diameter or “Diameter of Casing” means the largest nominal permanent water bearing casing. For the purpose of this chapter, the diameter of the casing at the upper terminus will be presumed to be the diameter for the entire length, unless the well owner or contractor can demonstrate that the well has a smaller diameter permanent water bearing casing below the upper terminus.
