Peace officer means a law enforcement official of a public agency or governmental unit, and includes persons specifically given peace officer powers by any state law, local ordinance, or judicial order of appointment.
Certified peace officer means a peace officer certified by the
Agency Chief Contracting Officer or “ACCO” shall mean the position delegated authority by the Agency Head to organize and supervise the procurement activity of subordinate Agency staff in conjunction with the City Chief Procurement Officer.
Finance Officer means the Comptroller of the City or her authorized agent.
Chief Administrative Officer or “CAO” means the administrative head of a municipality as appointed by Council under clause 86(2)(c) of the Municipal Government Act.
Intake officer means a juvenile probation officer appointed as such pursuant to the authority of this
Chief Administrative Officer (CAO means the person appointed to the position of chief administrative officer for the Town of Okotoks within the meaning of the Municipal Government Act;
Chief Operating Officer means the Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation.
Administrative Officer means anyone designated at the college as being on the administrative staff, such as the President, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Student Services Officer, etc.
Wildlife officer means any individual authorized by a participating state to issue a citation for a wildlife violation.
Development Officer means the Development Officer appointed by the Council of the Municipality.
Revenue Officer means an officer of the Revenue Commissioners;
Vice President when used with respect to the Company or the Trustee, means any vice president, whether or not designated by a number or a word or words added before or after the title "vice president".
City Chief Procurement Officer or “CCPO” shall mean the position delegated authority by the Mayor to coordinate and oversee the procurement activity of Mayoral agency staff, including the ACCOs.
Compliance Officer means Company Secretary or such other senior officer, who is financially literate and is capable of appreciating requirements for legal and regulatory compliance under these regulations designated so and reporting to the Board of Directors and who shall be responsible for compliance of policies, procedures, maintenance of records, monitoring adherence to the rules for the preservation of unpublished price sensitive information, monitoring of trades and the implementation of the codes specified in these regulations under the overall supervision of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Chief Procurement Officer or "CPO" means the chief procurement officer of the City of Chicago or his or her designee.
Police officer means every officer authorized to direct or regulate traffic, or to make arrests for violations of traffic regulations.
Commercial Operation Date (COD) means the date certified by the DISCOM’s committee upon successful commissioning (as per provisions of the PPA) of the project when all equipments as per rated capacity have been installed and energy has flown into the grid.
Principal Financial Officer shall have the meanings given to such terms in the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx Act.
Chief Compliance Officer means the individual appointed by the Board as BSEF’s chief compliance officer in accordance with the Operating Agreement, with the duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time as set forth in Rule 208.
Campus police officer means a school security officer designated by the board of education of any school district pursuant to K.S.A. 72-6146, and amendments thereto.
Chief Student Services Officer means the Administrative Officer at the College who has overall management responsibility for student services, or his/her designee.
Joint Controller with the other Party;
Reserve officer means a person authorized by a city, city and county, town, county, or state institution of higher education within this state to act as a reserve police officer, reserve deputy sheriff, or reserve town marshal for certain specific and limited periods of time while the person is authorized to be on duty and acting at the express direction or under the direct supervision of a fully POST-certified peace officer pursuant to section 16-2.5- 103, 16-2.5- 105, 16-2.5-108, or 16-2.5-120. A reserve officer is a peace officer while engaged in the performance of his or her duties whose authority shall be limited to the authority granted by his or her authorizing agency.
Solvency II Directive means Directive 2009/138/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 25 November 2009 on the taking-up and pursuit of the business of insurance and reinsurance (Solvency II);
Joint Controllers means where two or more Controllers jointly determine the purposes and means of processing;
