Certificate of lead−free status definition

Certificate of lead−free status or “lead−free certificate” means a certificate issued under this chapter by a certified lead inspector or risk assessor, and registered with the department that documents a finding by the inspector or risk assessor that a prem- ises, dwelling or unit of a dwelling is free of lead−bearing paint as of the date specified on the certificate.
