Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician definition

Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician means a person licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy who assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy pursuant to rules of the Board and has completed the specialized education program pursuant to OAR 855-025-0005. Persons used solely for clerical duties, such as recordkeeping, cashiering, bookkeeping and delivery of medications released by the pharmacist are not considered pharmacy technicians.¶
