IEA’s principal mandate is to lead the implementation of the CGIAR Policy for Independent External Evaluations2 through the conduct of strategic evaluations of CRPs and of other institutional elements of the CGIAR.
The proposed CGIAR Policy on Evaluation jointly developed with the Consortium Board should be submitted to the Fund Council for approval.
