Chief Stewards definition

Chief Stewards. Leave of absence with current pay, benefits and without loss of seniority will be granted to one (1) chief xxxxxxx for up to a combined maximum total of six (6) days per year to deal with Collective Agreement related problems on the work sites within the contract area. Further leaves will be granted as required as per Clause 2.10(a)(2).
Chief Stewards leave of absence with current pay, benefits and without loss of seniority will be granted to members of the Bargaining Committee for up to an aggregate total of twenty-four (24) hours per contract year, to deal with collective agreement related problems at worksites within the contract area. Further leaves will be granted as required per Clause 2.10(a)(2).
