City Schools definition

City Schools means the Baltimore City Public Schools System, administered by the Chief Executive Officer under the direction and supervision of the School Board.
City Schools means those schools for which the City has direct responsibility, as proprietor, sponsor or local authority, namely: The Sir John Cass Foundation Primary School, The City Academy Hackney; the City of London Academy Islington, the City of London School, the City of London School for Girls, the City of London Freemen’s School, and the academies managed by the City of London Academies Trust.

  • These repairs and/or replacements shall be made at such times as will be designated by City Schools to avoid any interruption to the instructional programs.

  • City Schools shall bear no responsibility for monitoring the Contractor’s compliance with said legal requirements.

  • Community school means a community school established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code.

  • primary school means a school classified as a primary school or an intermediate school under the Education and Training Act 2020.

  • School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.

  • Weapon-free school zone means school property and a vehicle used by a school to transport students to or from school property.

  • Public schools means the schools and other institutions mentioned in subsection

  • Elementary school means a nonprofit institutional day or residential school, including a public elementary charter school that provides elementary education, as determined under State law. State law defines elementary grades as including K4-8th grade.

  • School campus means all areas of the property under the jurisdiction of the school that are accessible to students during the school day.

  • CDDP means "Community Developmental Disabilities Program".

  • School climate means the quality and character of school life with a particular focus on the quality of the relationships within the school community between and among students and adults.

  • Academy means the academy named at the beginning of this Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and includes all sites upon which the academy undertaking is, from time to time, being carried out.

  • University means the university of Montana-Missoula.

  • Market Area means any location or geographic area within 75 miles of a location where the Company or its Affiliates conducts Business, or has plans to conduct Business of which Executive is aware, during the period of Executive’s employment with the Company.

  • Secondary school means a nonprofit institutional day or residential school including a public secondary charter school that provides secondary education for grades 9-12.

  • Signage means advertising displays, hoardings, Glow signs, neon signs, LED signs, LCD signs, any digital signs, any sort of display intended to convey information and described in the schedule.

  • Member School means a full or associate member school of the DIAA.

  • Parking Disc means a disc, issued by a local authority, complying with the requirements of the British Standard Specification for Parking Discs (BS No. 4631: 1970), but coloured blue and capable of showing the quarter hours period during which a period of waiting begins; and

  • School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).

  • Middle school means separate schools for early adolescents and the middle school grades that

  • Government school means a school established under section 5 of the Act, for the purpose of providing courses of instruction in pre-school, primary or secondary education.

  • Resident school district means the public school district in which the student resides.

  • Public garage means a building or other place where vehicles or vessels are kept and stored and where a charge is made for the storage and keeping of vehicles and vessels.

  • Backsiphonage means the flow of water or other liquids, mixtures or substances into the potable water system from any source other than its intended source, caused by the reduction of pressure in the potable water system.
