Clark County definition

Clark County means the Las Vegas-Paradise Metropolitan Statistical Area consisting of Clark County, Nevada.

Related to Clark County

  • Cook means an employee who grills food on a salamander, stove, hot plate or barbecue type cooker and shall include preparing, frying or cooking fish or chicken or cooking pizzas.

  • New York Courts shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9(d).

  • Superior Court means the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

  • Counties means, collectively, Macomb County, Oakland County and Wayne County.

  • Ontario Court means the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

  • sitting means, in relation to a House, a period during which that House is sitting continuously without adjournment, and includes any period during which the House is in committee;

  • Resident district means the school district in which a student is entitled to attend school under section 3313.64 or 3313.65 of the Revised Code.

  • County Counsel means County’s Office of the County Counsel.

  • Rural county means a county of the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth class.

  • County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.

  • County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university.   • Southern means The Southern Company, its successors and assigns.

  • Resident school district means the public school district in which the student resides.

  • County clerk means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections.

  • County board means a county board of developmental disabilities.

  • Supreme Court means the North Carolina Supreme Court.

  • Juvenile court means the district court of this state.

  • County Manager means the County Manager appointed by the County Council pursuant to the Luzerne County Charter;
