Claims Officer means the individual or individuals appointed by the Monitor pursuant to the Amended Claims Procedure Order;
Corrections officer means any corrections agency employee
Progress Officer means any person nominated by or on behalf of the Purchaser to visit supplier's works to ascertain position of deliveries of Goods ordered.
Development Officer means the Development Officer appointed by the Council of the Municipality.
Licensing Officer means a person with the authority to enter into, administer, and/or terminate Agreements and make related determination and findings.
Investigating Officer means the person appointed by the Monitoring Officer to undertake a formal investigation of a complaint alleging a breach of the Code of Conduct by a Subject Member. The Investigating Officer may be another senior officer of the District Council, an officer of another authority or an external investigator.
Controlling Officer means an officer entrusted by a Department of the Central Government with the responsibility of controlling the incurring of expenditure and/or the collection of revenue. The term
Environment Officer means an employee so designated pursuant to The Environment Act;
Campus police officer means a school security officer designated by the board of education of any school district pursuant to K.S.A. 72-6146, and amendments thereto.
customs officer means any person acting as such in terms of the Customs and Excise Act [Chapter 23:02];
BD Officer means each officer or employee of BD designated as a "BD Officer" for purposes of this Agreement in a communication to the Auction Agent.
Community corrections officer means an employee of the
Chief Investor Relations Officer means such senior officer of the Company appointed by the Board of directors to deal with dissemination of information and disclosure of UPSI in a fair and unbiased manner.
Hearings Officer means a person from time to time appointed by Council pursuant to the Hearings Officer By-law;
forest officer means a full-time employee of the department of natural resources who is designated a forest officer under section 1503.29 of the Revised Code and is in compliance with section 109.77 of the Revised Code.
Screening Officer means a person appointed to that position under this bylaw.
Police officer means every officer authorized to direct or regulate traffic, or to make arrests for violations of traffic regulations.
Definition. Contracting officer s representative" means an individual designated in accordance with subsection 201.602-2 of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and authorized in writing by the contracting officer to perform specific technical or administrative functions.
Administrative Officer means anyone designated at the college as being on the administrative staff, such as the President, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Student Services Officer, etc.

Pretrial Services Officer (i.e., USPSO) means the individual appointed by a United States District Court to provide pretrial release investigations, recommendations and supervision services for that court. “Pretrial Services Officer” refers to the individual responsible for the direct supervision of a client receiving drug/alcohol testing and/or treatment and/or mental health treatment services.
Purchase Officer means the officer signing the acceptance of tender and includes any officer who has authority to execute the relevant contract on behalf of the Purchaser;
