Close Connection definition

Close Connection means any of the following relationships between organizations: (1) control of one organization by another through common directors, officers, or trustees or through authority to approve budgets or expenditures; (2) coordination or sharing of operations as to facilities, programs, employees, or other activities; or
Close Connection means a linked or related person to a Child that is:
Close Connection means (i) they are or have within the last four years been actively involved in the Charity’s affairs; (ii) they are or have within the last four years been an employee of the Charity; or (iii) they have close family ties with any of the Charity’s directors or senior employees.

More Definitions of Close Connection

Close Connection means connection involving regular congregation for the purpose of social or community support;
Close Connection means, in relation to a Warehouse Company and Trading Company, that: (a) any person or company either directly or indirectly holds or effectively controls 20% or more of the shares or voting rights in both the relevant Warehouse Company and Trading Company; or (b) any Trading Company directly or indirectly holds or effectively controls 20% or more of the shares or voting rights of the relevant Warehouse Company (or vice versa).

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Point of Connection means the point at which electricity may flow into or out of the Network;

  • water meter means any apparatus for measuring or showing the volume of water supplied to, or of effluent discharged from any premises;

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Manhole means an enclosure, usually below ground level and entered through a hole on the surface covered with a cast iron or concrete Manhole cover, which personnel may enter and use for the purpose of installing, operating, and maintaining Facilities in a Conduit.

  • Record system means any group of records under the control of the division from which a record may be retrieved by a personal identifier such as the name of an individual, number, symbol, or other unique retriever assigned to an individual.

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Connection Point means an exit point or an entry point or a bidirectional point identified or to be identified as such in an access contract.

  • Interconnection is As Defined in the Act.

  • Metering System means all meters and metering devices (including current transformers and potential transformers) installed by the Company and uses to measure Electricity and delivery by the Company and receipt by the BPDB of Net Energy Output. The Metering System shall be owned and maintained by the Company.

  • Nuclear reactor means any apparatus designed or used to sustain nuclear fission in a self-supporting chain reaction or to contain a critical mass of fissionable material.
