Colorado Springs Utilities definition

Colorado Springs Utilities means the Utilities of the City of Colorado Springs created and operated as an enterprise pursuant to Article VI of the City Charter.
Colorado Springs Utilities means the Utility Enterprise for the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado which is also the representative and project manager for the Southern Delivery System (SDS).
Colorado Springs Utilities means the entity that is acting on its own behalf and behalf of the other SDS Participants, the Security Water District Enterprise acting by and through it’s Water Activity Enterprise, the City of Fountain, acting by and through it’s Electric, Water, and Wastewater Utility Enterprise and Pueblo West Metropolitan District acting by and through it’s Water Enterprise under an Intergovernmental Agreement among these entities.

  • Annual Energy Use means, (i) with respect to the first 5 years following the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kilowatt hours (“kWhs”), within the Party’s respective jurisdiction and (ii) with respect to the period after the fifth anniversary of the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWhs, of accounts within a Party’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority and (b) “Total Annual Energy” means the sum of all Parties’ Annual Energy Use. The initial values for Annual Energy use are designated in Exhibit C, and shall be adjusted annually as soon as reasonably practicable after January 1, but no later than March 1 of each year

  • Public utilities means those utilities defined in sections 4905.02, 4905.03, 4907.02, and 4907.03 of the Revised Code; in the case of a foreign corporation, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of its domicile; and in the case of any other foreign issuer, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of the situs of its principal place of business. The term always includes railroads whether or not they are so defined as public utilities.

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) means a vehicle that is similar to a Hybrid but is equipped with a larger, more advanced battery that allows the vehicle to be plugged in and recharged in addition to refueling with gasoline. This larger battery allows the car to be driven on a combination of electric and gasoline fuels.

  • Condominium Corporation means a condominium or strata corporation established under provincial legislation.

  • State waters means all water, on the surface and under the ground, wholly or partially within or bordering the Commonwealth or within its jurisdiction, including wetlands.

  • Conifer means a tree that is a Douglas-fir, true fir, pine, western hemlock, spruce, or cedar.

"Graywater" includes, but is not limited to, wastewater from bathtubs, showers, bathroom washbasins, clothes washing machines, and laundry tubs, but does not include wastewater from kitchen sinks or dishwashers. Health and Safety Code Section 17922.12.

  • Next Michigan development corporation means that term as defined in section 3 of the next Michigan development act, 2010 PA 275, MCL 125.2953.
