Conditionally exempt small quantity generator definition

Conditionally exempt small quantity generator or “CESQG” means a generator that in a calendar month generates no more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste in that month and is further defined by 40 CFR 261.5.
Conditionally exempt small quantity generator or “CESQG” means a business concern that meets the criteria for a generator specified in Section 261.5 of Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Conditionally exempt small quantity generator means a generator of hazardous waste who has been so defined in 40 CFR 261.5. That section applies to the persons who generate in that calendar month no more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or 1 kilogram of acutely hazardous waste.

Conditionally exempt small quantity generator means a generator who generates no more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste in a month, and accumulates no more than a total of 1,000 kilograms of hazardous waste. If a conditionally exempt small quantity generator also generates acute hazardous waste, those acute hazardous wastes are subject to the exemptions and regulations of Chapter 8.
