In the event any term or provision of this Agreement is rendered invalid or unenforceable by any valid act of Congress or the state legislature, or by any regulation duly promulgated by offices of the United States of the State of New York acting in accordance with law or declared null and void by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
If during the term of this Agreement the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947 shall be amended by Congress in such manner as to reduce the time within which an employee may be required to acquire Union membership, such reduced time limit shall become immediately effective instead of and without regard to the time limit specified in Section 1 of this Article.
