Project Provinces means those provinces and municipalities of the Borrower listed in the Annex to Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as said Annex may be amended from time to time by agreement between the Borrower and the Association, and a “Project Province” means any of said Project Provinces;
Province means the procuring Department, incorporating the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature.
Qualifying Provinces means each of the provinces of Canada;
Municipalities means every municipality as defined under the
Commercial domicile means the principal place from which the trade or business of the taxpayer is directed or managed.
Anticorruption Laws means the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended and any other anticorruption or anti-bribery Applicable Law applicable to the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
Project Implementing Entity’s Legislation means the Charter of the Municipal Development Fund established pursuant to Decree No. 118 of the Government of Georgia dated July 23, 2005, as amended to date.
Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Laws means the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended, any rules or regulations thereunder, or any other applicable United States or non-U.S. anti-corruption or anti-bribery laws or regulations.
Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada;
EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.
Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities commission or similar regulatory authority in each province and territory of Canada that is responsible for administering the Canadian securities legislation in force in such jurisdictions;
Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.
NICs Legislation means the Social Security (Categorisation of Earners) Regulations 1978;
Community organization means an organization that provides
primary legislation means an Act, Act of the Scottish Parliament or Act or Measure of the National Assembly for Wales;
State educational agency means any state or local educational licensing body that provides a license, permit, authorization or other approval necessary for an educational institution or other entity to operate or to provide educational programs or courses in that state.
local municipality means a municipality that shares municipal executive and legislative authority in its area with a district municipality within whose area it falls, and which is described in section 155(1) of the Constitution as a category B municipality;
Territories means territories, including territorial waters;
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);
Anti-Corruption Laws means all laws, rules, and regulations of any jurisdiction applicable to the Borrower or its Subsidiaries from time to time concerning or relating to bribery or corruption.
research organisation means a legal entity established as a non-profit organisation which carries out research or technological development as one of its main objectives;
Reporting Jurisdictions means British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario;
securities legislation means statutes concerning the regulation of securities markets and trading in securities and the regulations, rules, forms and schedules under those statutes, all as amended from time to time, and the blanket rulings and orders, as amended from time to time, issued by the securities commissions or similar regulatory authorities appointed under or pursuant to those statutes; “Canadian securities legislation” means the securities legislation in any province or territory of Canada and includes the Securities Act (British Columbia); and “U.S. securities legislation” means the securities legislation in the federal jurisdiction of the United States and in any state of the United States and includes the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; and
permitted supranational agency means any of the following:
contracting authorities means the State, regional or local authorities, bodies governed by public law or associations formed by one or more such authorities or one or more such bodies governed by public law;
Sanctions Laws and Regulations means any sanctions, prohibitions or requirements imposed by any executive order (an “Executive Order”) or by any sanctions program administered by OFAC.
