Construction-manager-at-risk means a project delivery method in which:
Construction Manager means a competent person responsible for the management of the physical construction processes and the coordination, administration and management of resources on a construction site;
Construction management at-risk means a project delivery method in which the District awards separate contracts, one for architectural and engineering services to design an infrastructure facility and the second to a construction manager at-risk for both construction of the infrastructure facility according to the design and construction management services.
Construction Management Agreement means the Construction Management Agreement, dated as of the date of the Common Agreement, between Construction Manager and the Project Company.
Construction Services means either of the following for construction-manager-at-risk, design-build and job-order-contracting project delivery methods:
Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.
Construction Completion Date means date of the completion of the Construction Period, which shall be at the expiry of a period of 24 (Twenty Four) months from the Compliance Date or such other date (with the consent of the Authority) by which the overall development of the Project is completed in accordance with the provisions of this Concession Agreement and when the Construction Completion Certificate is issued by Authority as per Article 14.1.
City’s Project Manager means the City’s employee, or his/her delegate, who is authorized in writing to deal with the Consultant on behalf of the City in connection with the Services, or to make decisions in connection with this Agreement;
Design-Builder means the Person selected pursuant to the RFP that enters into the Contract with the Department to design and construct the Project (also referred to as the “Design-Build Team”).
