Contribution rate for additional service credit definition

Contribution rate for additional service credit means the contribution rate adopted by the board as a plan amendment with respect to the Defined Benefit Program for the purchase of service credit. This rate shall be based upon the most recent valuation of the plan with respect to the Defined Benefit Pro- gram and increased to include any subsequently required contribution rates designated for funding subsequent allowance increases.

  • Qualified Matching Contribution means any employer contribution allocated to an Eligible Employee's account under any plan of an Employer or a Related Company solely on account of "elective contributions" made on his behalf or "employee contributions" made by him that is a qualified matching contribution as defined in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k), is nonforfeitable when made, and is distributable only as permitted in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k).

  • Qualified Matching Contributions means Matching Contributions which are immediately nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable, regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Section 401(k)(2)(B) of the Code and the regulations thereunder.

  • Defined Contribution Dollar Limitation means, for any Limitation Year, $46,000, as adjusted for increases in the cost-of-living under Code section 415(d). If a short Limitation Year is created because of a Plan amendment changing the Limitation Year to a different 12-consecutive month period, the Defined Contribution Dollar Limitation for the short Limitation Year will not exceed the amount determined in the preceding sentence multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of months in the short Limitation Year and the denominator of which is 12.

  • Contribution Rate means, in a reserve study as described in RCW 64.34.380, the amount contributed to the reserve account so that the association will have cash reserves to pay major maintenance, repair, or replacement costs without the need of a special assessment.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Annual Addition The sum of the following amounts allocated on behalf of a Participant for a Limitation Year, of (i) all Employer contributions; (ii) all forfeitures; and (iii) all Employee contributions. Except to the extent provided in Treasury regulations, Annual Additions include excess contributions described in Code Section 401(k), excess aggregate contributions described in Code Section 401(m) and excess deferrals described in Code Section 402(g), irrespective of whether the plan distributes or forfeits such excess amounts. Annual Additions also include Excess Amounts reapplied to reduce Employer contributions under Section 3.10. Amounts allocated after March 31, 1984, to an individual medical account (as defined in Code Section 415(l)(2)) included as part of a defined benefit plan maintained by the Employer are Annual Additions. Furthermore, Annual Additions include contributions paid or accrued after December 31, 1985, for taxable years ending after December 31, 1985, attributable to post-retirement medical benefits allocated to the separate account of a key employee (as defined in Code Section 419A(d)(3)) under a welfare benefit fund (as defined in Code Section 419(e)) maintained by the Employer.

  • Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other defined contribution plan on behalf of a Participant on account of a Participant's Deferral Contribution.

  • Excess Contribution With respect to any Plan Year, the excess of: (a) the aggregate amount of Employer contributions actually taken into account in computing the ADP of Highly Compensated Employees for such Plan Year, over (b) the maximum amount of such contributions permitted by the ADP Test (determined by hypothetically reducing contributions made on behalf of Highly Compensated Employees in order of the ADPs, beginning with the highest of such percentages).

  • Additional Contribution Each Member's pro-rata portion of a Required Amount, determined by multiplying the Required Amount by each Member's Interest.

  • Excess Additional Book Basis has the meaning given such term in the definition of “Additional Book Basis Derivative Items.”

  • Company Matching Contributions means any contributions made to the Company Matching Account of a Participant by a Participating Employer as provided for in Section 4.02.

  • Annual Additions means the sum credited to a Participant's Accounts for any Limitation Year of (a) "employer" contributions, (b) Employee contributions (except as provided below), (c) Forfeitures, (d) amounts allocated to an individual medical benefit account, as defined in Code §415(l)(2), which is part of a pension or annuity plan maintained by the "employer," (e) amounts derived from contributions paid or accrued which are attributable to post-retirement medical benefits allocated to the separate account of a key employee (as defined in Code §419A(d)(3)) under a welfare benefit fund (as defined in Code §419(e)) maintained by the "employer" and (f) allocations under a simplified employee pension. Except, however, the Compensation percentage limitation referred to in paragraph (e)(5)(ii) below shall not apply to: (1) any contribution for medical benefits (within the meaning of Code §419A(f)(2)) after separation from service which is otherwise treated as an "annual addition," or (2) any amount otherwise treated as an "annual addition" under Code §415(l)(1).

  • Capital Account Record Date and "Income Account Record Date" shall mean the "Record Dates" set forth in the "Essential Information" in the Prospectus.

  • Percentage Allocation is defined in Section 4.3(b)(ii)(y).

  • Contribution Percentage Amounts means the sum of the Employee Contributions, Matching Contributions, and Qualified Matching Contributions (to the extent not taken into account for purposes of the ADP test) made under the Plan on behalf of the participant for the Plan Year. Such Contribution Percentage Amounts shall not include Matching Contributions that are forfeited either to correct Excess Aggregate Contributions or because the contributions to which they relate are Excess Deferrals, Excess Contributions, or Excess Aggregate Contributions. If so elected in the adoption agreement the Employer may include Qualified Nonelective Contributions in the Contribution Percentage Amounts. The Employer also may elect to use Elective Deferrals in the Contribution Percentage Amounts so long as the ADP test is met before the Elective Deferrals are used in the ACP test and continues to be met following the exclusion of those Elective Deferrals that are used to meet the ACP test.

  • Maximum Potential Additional Dividend Liability, as of any Valuation Date, means the aggregate amount of Additional Dividends that would be due if the Corporation were to make Retroactive Taxable Allocations, with respect to any fiscal year, estimated based upon dividends paid and the amount of undistributed realized net capital gains and other taxable income earned by the Corporation, as of the end of the calendar month immediately preceding such Valuation Date and assuming such Additional Dividends are fully taxable.

  • Group II Allocation Percentage With respect to any Distribution Date, the percentage equivalent of a fraction, the numerator of which is (i) the Group II Principal Remittance Amount for such Distribution Date, and the denominator of which is (ii) the Principal Remittance Amount for such Distribution Date.

  • Matching Contributions means local cash and/or in-kind contributions made by the Subrecipient, subcontractor, or other local resources that qualify as match for the Contract funding.

  • Annual Contribution means the annual payment to the Fund made by each Member in return for Coverage by the Fund for a Fund Year;

  • Group I Allocation Percentage With respect to any Distribution Date, the percentage equivalent of a fraction, the numerator of which is (i) the Group I Principal Remittance Amount for such Distribution Date, and the denominator of which is (ii) the Principal Remittance Amount for such Distribution Date.

  • Excess Elective Deferrals means the amount of Elective Deferrals (as defined below) for a calendar year that the Participant designates to the Plan pursuant to the following procedure. The Participant’s designation: shall be submitted to the Administrator in writing no later than March 1; shall specify the Participant’s Excess Elective Deferrals for the preceding calendar year; and shall be accompanied by the Participant’s written statement that if the Excess Elective Deferrals is not distributed, it will, when added to amounts deferred under other plans or arrangements described in Section 401(k), 408(k) or 403(b) of the Code, exceed the limit imposed on the Participant by Section 402(g) of the Code for the year in which the deferral occurred. Excess Elective Deferrals shall mean those Elective Deferrals that are includible in a Participant's gross income under Section 402(g) of the Code to the extent such Participant's Elective Deferrals for a taxable year exceed the dollar limitation under such Code section.

  • Maximum Uncertificated Accrued Interest Deferral Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the excess of (a) accrued interest at the Uncertificated REMIC 2 Pass-Through Rate applicable to REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTZZ for such Distribution Date on a balance equal to the Uncertificated Principal Balance of REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTZZ minus the REMIC 2 Overcollateralization Amount, in each case for such Distribution Date, over (b) the sum of the Uncertificated Accrued Interest on REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAV1, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAV2, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAV3, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF1, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF2, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF3, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF4, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF5, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTAF6, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM1, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM2, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM3, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM4, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM5, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM6, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM7, REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM8 and REMIC 2 Regular Interest LTM9, with the rate on each such REMIC 2 Regular Interest subject to a cap equal to the Pass-Through Rate for the related Corresponding Certificate for the purpose of this calculation; provided, however, that for this purpose, calculations of the Uncertificated REMIC 2 Pass-Through Rate and the related caps with respect to each such REMIC 2 Regular Interest for which the Corresponding Certificate is a Group I Certificate shall be multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the actual number of days elapsed in the related Interest Period and the denominator of which is 30.

  • Actual Deferral Percentage means, for a specified group of Participants for a Plan Year, the average of the ratios (calculated separately for each Participant in the group) of (1) the amount of Employer contributions actually paid over to the Trust on behalf of the Participant for the Plan Year to (2) the Participant's Earnings for the Plan Year (or, provided that the Employer applies this method to all Employees for a Plan Year, the Participant's Earnings for that portion of the Plan Year during which he was eligible to participate in the Plan). Employer contributions on behalf of any Participant shall include: (i) his Elective Deferrals, including Excess Elective Deferrals of Highly Compensated Employees, but excluding (A) Excess Elective Deferrals of Non-Highly Compensated Employees that arise solely from Elective Deferrals made under the Plan or another plan maintained by an Affiliated Employer, and (B) Elective Deferrals that are taken into account in the Average Contribution Percentage test described in Section 5.10 (provided the ADP test is satisfied both with and without exclusion of these Elective Deferrals), and excluding Elective Deferrals returned to a Participant to reduce an Excess Amount as defined in Section 6.5(f); and (ii) if the Employer has elected to make Qualified Nonelective Contributions, such amount of Qualified Nonelective Contributions, if any, as shall be necessary to enable the Plan to satisfy the ADP test and not used to satisfy the ACP test; and (iii) if the Employer has elected to make Qualified Matching Contributions, such amount of Qualified Matching Contributions, if any, as shall be necessary to enable the Plan to satisfy the ADP test and not used to satisfy the ACP test. For purposes of computing Actual Deferral Percentages, an Employee who would be a Participant but for his failure to make Elective Deferrals shall be treated as a Participant on whose behalf no Elective Deferrals are made.

  • Additional contributions means contributions made by a member of a defined benefit plan to

  • Maximum Contribution Amount shall equal the excess of (i) the aggregate proceeds received by such Holder pursuant to the sale of such Registrable Notes or Exchange Notes over (ii) the aggregate amount of damages that such Holder has otherwise been required to pay by reason of such untrue or alleged untrue statement or omission or alleged omission. No person guilty of fraudulent misrepresentation (within the meaning of Section 11(f) of the Securities Act) shall be entitled to contribution from any Person who was not guilty of such fraudulent misrepresentation. The Holders’ obligations to contribute pursuant to this Section 8(d) are several in proportion to the respective principal amount of the Registrable Securities held by each Holder hereunder and not joint. The Company’s and Subsidiary Guarantors’ obligations to contribute pursuant to this Section 8(d) are joint and several. The indemnity and contribution agreements contained in this Section 8 are in addition to any liability that the Indemnifying Parties may have to the Indemnified Parties.

  • Contribution Period means the period specified in Article VI for which Employer Contributions shall be made.
