Controlling organization definition

Controlling organization means the agency that assumes the responsibility for overall administration of the program.
Controlling organization means the same as that term is defined in the Internal Revenue Code section 512(b)(13) and the instructions to IRS Form 990, Glossary, as they may be amended or superseded from time to time. Consistent with Internal Revenue Code section 512(b)(13) and the instructions to IRS Form 990, the term means an exempt organization that controls a controlled entity.
