Councillor means a member of a municipal council;
Councils means the Council of all partner Ste. Anne Summer Villages.
Community Council or “Council” means a duly elected body of MNO citizens that represents a Charter Community,
General Council means the General Council of the University;
District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.
Chief Commissioner means the chief administrative officer of the County, or delegate;
Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.
Council means the Council of the Municipality;
Council of governments means a decision-making body in each county composed of membership including the county governing body and the mayors of each municipality in the county.
Provincial Council means a council established for a non-metropolitan province in terms of section 269 of the Constitution;
District Council means a district council within the meaning of the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972(7);
local council means a local council established under the Local Government Act, 2004;
City Council means the City Council of the City.
School Council for a School, means the school council established for the School under the Act.
People s Bank of China” means People’s Bank of China acting as the central bank of the People’s Republic of China pursuant to the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the People’s Bank of China promulgated by the National People’s Congress on 18 March 1995.
Ministry means the Ontario Ministry of the Environment;
Secretariat means the office constituted as per Sub-Clause (1) of Clause 6 of the Scheme.
land development application means the application for a land development permit on a form provided by [local jurisdiction] along with the supporting documentation required in Section [Y]-10(a).
British Council Entities means the subsidiary companies and other organisations Controlled by the British Council from time to time, and any organisation which Controls the British Council (the “Controlling Entity”) as well as any other organisations Controlled by the Controlling Entity from time to time;
Transient non-community water system or “transient non-CWS” means a non- CWS that does not regularly serve at least 25 of the same persons over six months of the year.
Academic Council means the Academic Council of the University;
Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
State Council means the resident members of the State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision created by each state under Article IV of this compact.
Land development means the erection of buildings or structures on land, or the change of use of land, including township establishment, the subdivision or consolidation of land or any deviation from the land use or uses permitted in terms of an applicable land use scheme;
County Council means Greenville County Council, the governing body of the County.
local community means any community of people living or having rights or interests in a distinct geographical area;
