County detention facility definition

County detention facility means a county jail, a county stockade, a county work camp, a county residential probation center, and any other place except a municipal detention facility used by a county or county officer for the detention of persons charged with or convicted of either felony or misdemeanor.
County detention facility means a county jail, a county stockade, a county work camp, a county residential probation center , and any other place except a municipal detention facility used by a county or county officer for the de tention of persons charged with or convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor, regardless of whether such facility is operated by a board of county commissioners, a sheriff, or any other entity. Examples of County detention facility in a sentence

  • Employees in budgeted positions who are regularly required to remain in a County detention facility during their shift shall be entitled to receive one meal and only one meal, served during the shift.

  • It shall be the responsibility of the juvenile division to ensure that all juveniles detained in any King County detention facility are given reasonable access to the defense bar, juvenile probation counselors and social service providers and educators in a timely manner, consistent with appropriate security measures and public safety.
