Code of Practice means the Code Administration Code of Practice approved by the Authority and:
Consumer Protection Act means the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 (as amended from time to time).
Codes of Practice means all codes of practice, rules of procedure, guidelines, directions, scheme rules and other requirements issued by the Bank System and specified from time to time as being applicable to the EMV PSP Service and your use of those.
Scope of practice means defined parameters of various duties or services that may be provided by an individual with specific credentials. Whether regulated by rule, statute, or court decision, it tends to represent the limits of services an individual may perform.
Cathodic protection tester means a person who can demonstrate an understanding of the principles and measurements of all common types of cathodic protection systems as applied to buried or submerged metal piping and tank systems. At a minimum, such persons must have education and experience in soil resistivity, stray current, structure-to-soil potential, and component electrical isolation measurements of buried metal piping and tank systems.
Cathodic protection means a technique designed to prevent the corrosion of a metal surface by making that surface the cathode of an electrochemical cell. For example, protection can be accomplished with an impressed current system or a galvanic anode system.
Flood Insurance Regulations means (a) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (b) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (c) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC § 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (d) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
Sort code means the 6-digit code that identifies a particular bank and bank branch in the Republic of Ireland;
Code of Good Practice means the generic codes or the sector codes as the case may be;
Portability means transfer by an individual health insurance policyholder (including family cover) of the credit gained for pre-existing conditions and time-bound exclusions if he/she chooses to switch from one insurer to another.
General Regulations means the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012.

Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Data Protection Act means Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
Electrical protection barrier means the part providing protection against any direct contact to the high voltage live parts.
Xxxx-Xxxxx Act means the Xxxx-Xxxxx Xxxx Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
EU Data Protection Law means (i) prior to 25 May 2018, Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive") and on and after 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); and (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of Personal Data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and applicable national implementations of it (as may be amended, superseded or replaced).
Flood Protection System means those physical structural works for which funds have been authorized, appropriated, and expended and which have been constructed specifically to modify flooding in order to reduce the extent of the area within a community subject to a "special flood hazard" and the extent of the depths of associated flooding. Such a system typically includes hurricane tidal barriers, dams, reservoirs, levees or dikes. These specialized flood modifying works are those constructed in conformance with sound engineering standards.
Code of Ordinances means the Code of Ordinances of the City of Polk City, Iowa.
Consumer advocate means the consumer advocate referred to in Iowa Code chapter 475A.
ERCOT Protocols means the document adopted by ERCOT, including any attachments or exhibits referenced in that document, as amended from time to time, that contains the scheduling, operating, planning, reliability, and Settlement (including Customer registration) policies, rules, guidelines, procedures, standards, and criteria of ERCOT. For the purposes of determining responsibilities and rights at a given time, the ERCOT Protocols, as amended in accordance with the change procedure(s) described in the ERCOT Protocols, in effect at the time of the performance or non-performance of an action, shall govern with respect to that action.
RESPA means the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (12 U.S.C. § 2601 et seq.) and its implementing regulation, Regulation X (12 C.F.R. Part 1024), as they may be amended from time to time, or any additional or successor federal legislation or regulation that governs the same subject matter. When used in this Security Instrument, “RESPA” refers to all requirements and restrictions that would apply to a “federally related mortgage loan” even if the Loan does not qualify as a “federally related mortgage loan” under RESPA.
Xxxxxx Xxx Guide means the Xxxxxx Mae MBS Selling and Servicing Guide, as such Guide may hereafter from time to time be amended.
the 2007 Regulations means the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007;
Xxxxx–Xxxxx Act For any federally assisted construction contract, in excess of two thousand dollars ($2,000), the contractor, subcontractor, subrecipient shall comply with all of the requirements of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 – 3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR Part 5, “Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and assisted Construction”); and the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act (40 U.S.C. 3145), as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 3, “Contractors and Subcontractors on Public Building or Public Work Financed in Whole or in Part by Loans or Grants from the United States”).
