DE Class is for delay tolerant applications. DE Class is not ordered separately and is included in the Charge for the port. DE Class can burst to port speed if other Classes are not using the bandwidth. DE traffic is “bleached”, as it carries no priority over and above the other CoS. Some access types allow this bleaching to be turned off if specified by the Customer in the Order.
