On completion of the all statutory formalities, such credit in the account will be akin to a Debenture Certificate.
A fee will be charged by the Company not exceeding a sum of Rs.2/- on each fresh Debenture Certificate issued hereunder except certificates in replacement of those which are old, decrepit or worn out or defaced or where the cages for recording transfers have been fully utilised.
If, any Debenture Certificate is lost, stolen or destroyed then, upon proof thereof to the satisfaction of the Company and upon furnishing such indemnity as the Company may deem adequate and upon payment of any expenses incurred by the Company in connection with proof of such destruction or theft or in connection with such indemnity, the Company shall issue a new certificate.
If the Debentures (under any of the Series) are issued in physical format, and if the Debenture Certificate is mutilated or defaced then, upon production thereof to the Company, the Company shall cancel the same and issue a new certificate in lieu thereof.
Upon receipt by the Company of evidence of the loss, theft, destruction or mutilation of a Debenture Certificate, and (in the case of loss, theft or destruction) of indemnity reasonably satisfactory to the Company, and upon surrender and cancellation of the Debenture Certificate, if mutilated, the Company shall execute and deliver a new Debenture Certificate of like tenor and date.
