Defendant Party definition

Defendant Party has the meaning given in Clause 16.2(a);
Defendant Party has the meaning given to it in paragraph 3, Part II (Claims) of Schedule 23 (Agency Provisions).

  • No Released Defendant Party shall be subject to any liability or expense of any kind to any Releasing Party with respect to any Released Claim.

  • Mediation party means a person that participates in a mediation and whose agreement is necessary to resolve the dispute.

  • Aggrieved person is the person or persons making the claim.

  • Defending Party has the meaning set forth in Section 14.2.3.

  • Indemnitor has the meaning set forth in Section 12.3.

  • Settling Defendant s Property” shall mean all portions of the Site owned by Settling Defendant as of the date of signature of the Consent Decree by Settling Defendant.

  • Licensed person means an individual who is licensed or otherwise legally authorized to practice a professional service by a court, department, board, commission, or an agency of this state or another jurisdiction, any corporation or professional services corporation all of whose shareholders are licensed persons, any partnership all of whose partners are licensed persons, or any limited liability company all of whose members and managers are licensed persons.

  • Releasee or “Releasees” shall refer to you and to the Company and each of the Company’s owners, stockholders, predecessors, successors, assigns, agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives, attorneys, advisors, parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates (and agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives, attorneys and advisors of such parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates) and all persons acting by, through, under or in concert with any of them.
