Delegation means the issuing of a written authorisation by a delegating authority to a delegated body to act in his stead, and in relation to a duty, includes an instruction or request to perform or to assist in performing the duty, and ‘delegate’ and ‘sub-delegate’ has a corresponding meaning;
General power of appointment means a power of appointment exercisable in favor of the powerholder, the powerholder's estate, a creditor of the powerholder, or a creditor of the powerholder's estate.
Administration of Medication means the act of placing a medication in or on an individual's body by a staff member who is responsible for the individual's care.
Joint Powers Agreement means that certain Joint Powers Agreement dated June 27, 2017, as amended from time to time, under which Buyer is organized as a Joint Powers Authority in accordance with the Joint Powers Act.
Delegate means any delegate, agent, attorney or co-trustee appointed by the Security Agent.
Self-Administration of Medication means the individual manages and takes his or her own medication, identifies his or her medication and the times and methods of administration, places the medication internally in or externally on his or her own body without staff assistance upon written order of a physician, and safely maintains the medication without supervision.
Chief of Police means the Chief of Police, from time to time, of the Toronto Police Service.
Commissioner of Police means the person holding or acting in the office of Commissioner of Police under the Police Act 1892;
Power of appointment means a power that enables a powerholder acting in a nonfiduciary capacity to designate a recipient of an ownership interest in or another power of appointment over the appointive property. The term does not include a power of attorney.
Scheme of Delegation means an instrument by the Directors delegating such powers and responsibilities of the Directors as may be appropriate for them to delegate to the Local Governing Bodies consistently with the Objects;
Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee means the nominating and corporate governance committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

Delegated Identity Theft Prevention Duties means the written identity theft prevention duties that the Trust has delegated to the Transfer Agent to satisfy applicable regulatory requirements relating to identity theft prevention.
Delegated Authority means any person or committee delegated with authority by the Municipality in terms of the provisions of the Municipal Finance Management Act.
Corporate governance annual disclosure means a report an insurer or insurance group files in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 16b, Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure Act.
Successor personal representative means a personal representative, other than a special administrator, who is appointed to succeed a previously appointed personal representative.
Oversight means the term as it is defined in the Stewardship Agreement between CDOT and the FHWA.
Power of withdrawal means a presently exercisable general power of appointment other than a power:

Restricted Appointment means (a) any Appointment for which the applicable Authorizations have not been obtained, and (b) any Appointment for which the maturity date of the applicable Corporate Trust Contract is on or before June 30, 2022.
Discretionary Portfolio Management Services means the portfolio management services rendered to the Client by the Portfolio Manager on the terms and conditions contained in the agreement, where under the Portfolio Manager exercises any degree of discretion in the investments or management of assets of the Client.
Supervisory Permission means, in relation to any action, such supervisory permission (or, as appropriate, waiver) from the Regulator and/or the Relevant Resolution Authority as is required therefor under Applicable Banking Regulations.
Governance means rules, processes and be- havior that affect the way in which powers are exercised. The term “territorial governance” may be used to denominate the political concern to coordinate policies, programs and projects in re- lation to a specific territorial development.
