Designated health services (DHS) means any of the following services (other than those provided as emer- gency physician services furnished out- side of the U.S.), as they are defined in this section:(1)(i) Clinical laboratory services.(ii) Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and outpatient speech-lan- guage pathology services.
Designated health services include, among other services, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, clinical laboratory services, certain imaging services, and other items or services that our affiliated physicians may order.
