Discover Network definition

Discover Network means the payment network operated and maintained by Discover.
Discover Network means the Payment Card network owned or Controlled by Discover on which Discover Network-branded Payment Cards are processed.
Discover Network means the payment network operated and maintained by Discover, which network shall include for the avoidance of doubt, Cards bearing the servicemarks of Discover and/or Diners Club International.

  • If MERCHANT stores cardholder account numbers, expiration dates, and other personal cardholder data in a database, MERCHANT must follow VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Network guidelines on securing such data as outlined by the Visa Cardholder Information Security Procedures (CISP), MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP), and Discover Information Security and Compliance Program (DISC).

  • You must display Visa, MasterCard, Discover Network and any other applicable Card issuer, Debit Network and EBT Network decals and program marks on promotional materials that Processor furnishes, including, if applicable, the JCB, CUP, DCI and/or Electron symbol, in equal prominence near the point-of-sale devices and as otherwise required by the Rules.

  • Program Marks mean the brands, emblems, trademarks, and/or logos that identify the Discover Network Cards.

  • You must not contact any Discover Network Cardholder with respect to any matter arising under the Discover Rules, except as required or permitted in the Discover Rules.

  • This may result in a Chargeback or Summary Adjustment to your account.For Discover Network sales using a paper Sales Draft (as opposed to Electronic Draft Capture), the paper Sales Draft must also contain the initials of your representative or employee that conducted the transaction.

The use of the DS Offering by any such Extended Enterprise User(s) (1) shall be solely limited to use (a) as configured and deployed by Customer and (b) in connection with the Extended Enterprise User’s performance of services for and on behalf of Customer, and (2) shall exclude any use by Extended Enterprise User (a) for its own account or a third party’s account, or (b) for the purpose of modifying, otherwise using, maintaining or hosting the DS Offering. Extended Enterprise Users are authorized if so specified in the Product Portfolio. Machine means a device on which a DS Offering is executed and which is either (1) (i) (a) belonging to Customer or under its sole control or supervision and (b) located on Customer’s premises or according to Teleworking conditions, or (ii) authorized by Customer according to its own information technology charter or equivalent whereby third party devices (such as Users own devices) are specifically authorized, or (2) operated by a third party service provider as specifically authorized in the Agreement solely for and on behalf of Customer. Remote Access means, if so specified in the Product Portfolio, that Users and/or Extended Enterprise Users may access and use the DS Offering remotely via the Internet from any country (subject inter alia to the export and re-export laws and regulations provisions of the Agreement). Teleworking means any program authorized by and for the benefit of Customer to enable its employees to work outside its own premises, using information and communication technology (or equivalent program established by a Customer entitled to Academic Use of the DS Offerings for its Users). User means any (a) Customer’s employee, or (b) employee of Customer’s consultant(s) or subcontractor(s) (i) who accesses a DS Offering,

  • Network pharmacy means any pharmacy that has an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance for prescription drugs and diabetic equipment/supplies covered under this agreement. All other pharmacies are NON-NETWORK PHARMACIES. The one exception and for the purpose of specialty Prescription Drugs, only specialty pharmacies that have an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance are network pharmacies and all others pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) is an Enhanced Service Provider that provides Internet Services, and is defined in paragraph 341 of the FCC’s First Report and Order in CC Docket No. 97-158.

  • Core Network means the transport infrastructure identified in accordance with Chapter III of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013;
