Discretionary contract award, definition

Discretionary contract award, as used in this AL/FAL, means all types of commitments that obligate the Government to an expenditure of funds that are made available under the corresponding appropriations act, including but not limited to, contract awards; purchase orders; task and delivery orders under multiple award contracts to include Government-wide acquisition contracts, indefinite delivery contracts, and Federal Supply Schedule contracts; orders/calls under basic order agreements and blanket purchase agreements; and letter contracts. For Power Marketing Administrations, except for Bonneville Power Marketing Administration, this includes purchase power and wheeling transactions.
Discretionary contract award, as used in Section 311, means all types of commitments that obligate the Government to an expenditure of funds that are made available under Pub. L. 111- 85, Pub. L. No. 112-10, Pub. L. No. 112-74, and Pub. L. No. 113-6 including but not limited to, contract awards; purchase orders; task and delivery orders under multiple award contracts to include Governmentwide acquisition contracts, indefinite delivery contracts, and Federal Supply Schedule contracts; orders/calls under basic order agreements and blanket purchase agreements; and letter contracts. For Power Marketing Administrations, except for Bonneville Power Marketing Administration, this includes purchase power and wheeling transactions.

Related to Discretionary contract award,

  • Discretionary Contribution means the contribution made by the Employer on behalf of a Participant as described in Section 4.4(b).

  • Discretionary Account means a Personal Account in which you have completely turned over decision-making authority to a professional money manager (who is not a Family Member or not otherwise covered by this Code) and you have no direct or indirect influence or control over the account. (Such Discretionary Accounts are often referred to as “professionally managed,” “controlled” or “managed” accounts.)

  • Discretionary Assets means (i) securities that, if distributed, would be required to be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended; (ii) securities issued by entities in countries that (A) restrict or prohibit the holding of securities by non-nationals other than through qualified investment vehicles, or (B) permit transfers of ownership of securities to be effected only by transactions conducted on a local stock exchange; and (iii) any assets that, although they may be liquid and marketable, must be traded through the marketplace or with the counterparty to the transaction in order to effect a change in beneficial ownership."

  • discretionary use means the use of land or a building provided for in this Bylaw for which a development permit may be issued upon an application having been made;

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Program participant means an individual certified by the secretary as a program participant under Iowa Code section 9E.3.

  • Clawback Eligible Incentive Compensation means all Incentive-based Compensation Received by an Executive Officer (i) on or after the effective date of the applicable Nasdaq rules, (ii) after beginning service as an Executive Officer, (iii) who served as an Executive Officer at any time during the applicable performance period relating to any Incentive-based Compensation (whether or not such Executive Officer is serving at the time the Erroneously Awarded Compensation is required to be repaid to the Company), (iv) while the Company has a class of securities listed on a national securities exchange or a national securities association, and (v) during the applicable Clawback Period (as defined below).

  • Section 162(m) Participant means any key Employee designated by the Administrator as a key Employee whose compensation for the fiscal year in which the key Employee is so designated or a future fiscal year may be subject to the limit on deductible compensation imposed by Section 162(m) of the Code.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Participant ID means each unique identifier assigned to a Participant other than a DMA Customer by BSEF for access to the SEF operated by BSEF.

  • Performance Compensation Award means any Award designated by the Committee as a Performance Compensation Award pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Participant contract means a contract by which a sponsored captive insurance company insures the risks of a participant and limits the losses of the participant to the assets of a protected cell.

  • Deferred Compensation Award means an award of Stock Units granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Discretionary Sale The meaning specified in Section 2.14(c).

  • Terminated Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but whose employment has been terminated other than by death, Total and Permanent Disability or retirement.

  • CDS Participant means a participant in CDS that holds security entitlements in Units on behalf of beneficial owners of those Units;

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

  • Qualified Matching Contribution means any employer contribution allocated to an Eligible Employee’s account under any plan of an Employer or a Related Company solely on account of “elective contributions” made on his behalf or “employee contributions” made by him that is a qualified matching contribution as defined in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k), is nonforfeitable when made, and is distributable only as permitted in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k).

  • Participant Contributions means contributions made by the Participant pursuant to an executed Pay Reduction Agreement subject to the Participant Contribution limits contained in Article III.

  • Eligible Participant means an employee, officer, consultant or director of the Company or any Affiliate.

  • Voluntary Contribution Account means the account established and maintained by the Administrator for each Participant with respect to his total interest in the Plan resulting from the Participant's nondeductible voluntary contributions made pursuant to Section 4.12.

  • Employer Contribution means the amount paid by an employer, as determined by the employer rate, including the normal and deficiency rates, contributions, and funds wherever used in this chapter.

  • Plan Participant means a person who is eligible to receive, and is receiving, a pension benefit from the Plan.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.
