Drinking water source protection area definition

Drinking water source protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a public water supply well, which will provide water from an aquifer to the well within five years as delineated or endorsed by the agency under Ohio's wellhead protection and source water assessment and protection programs.
Drinking water source protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a public water supply well(s) supplying a community public water system, a non-community non-transient public water system, or a non-community transient public water system which will provide water from an aquifer to the well(s) within five years as delineated or endorsed by the Ohio environmental protection agency under Ohio's Wellhead Protection and Source Water Assessment and Protection Programs.
Drinking water source protection area means an area governed by the Drinking Water Source Protection Program under Subsection R309-600-6(f), designed to protect drinking water source protection zones and management areas from contaminants that may have an adverse effect on the health of persons.
