Dust clearance definition

Dust clearance means a visual examination and collection of dust samples by a lead-based paint inspector or lead-based paint inspector-risk assessor. The lead-based paint inspector or lead-based paint inspector-risk assessor shall use methods specified by the Department and analysis by an accredited laboratory to determine whether or not lead exposures exceed limits set by the Department.
