Examples of Effective Hire Date in a sentence
From a Transferred Employee’s Effective Hire Date through the first (1st) anniversary of the Closing Date or such earlier date on which such Transferred Employee’s employment with Buyer and its Affiliates terminates, Buyer shall, or shall cause its Affiliates to, provide such Transferred Employee with terms and conditions of employment that constitute a Comparable Position.
Effective immediately prior to the Closing or the Effective Hire Date, as applicable, Seller or the applicable Affiliate of Seller shall terminate the employment of each Current Employee.
As of the Closing Date, the Purchaser or the Designated Purchaser, as applicable, shall establish or otherwise provide a registered pension plan for Transferred Employees employed in Canada and maintain such plan for a period of at least five (5) years following the Closing Date and each such Transferred Employee’s participation shall commence on such Transferred Employee’s Effective Hire Date.
Purchaser shall be liable and responsible for all expenses and benefits with respect to medical, life insurance and other welfare plan claims incurred by each Transferred Employee (or his or her covered dependents) on or after the applicable Effective Hire Date.
Each such offer of employment shall be in compliance with applicable Law, with such employment to take effect under the terms stated herein upon the applicable Business Employee's Effective Hire Date.
