Electronic Serviceperson Grade 3 means an Electronic Serviceperson Grade 2 who is engaged on complex or intricate circuitry or both, the purpose of which work requires the use of "additional knowledge" as herein defined. For the purpose of this definition "additional knowledge" means knowledge in excess of that gained by the satisfactory completion of the appropriate technical college trade course which has been acquired by the tradesperson by virtue of their: (a) having had not less than 2 year's on-the-job experience as a tradesperson working on such complex or intricate circuitry work as will enable the tradesperson to perform such work unsupervised where necessary and practicable; and (b) having by virtue of either the satisfactory completion of a prescribed post trades course in industrial electronics, radio or communications or the achievement of a comparable standard of knowledge by other means, including the on-the-job experience referred to in clause 1.6.26(a), gained a sufficient comprehension of such complex or intricate circuitry work as will enable the tradesperson to examine, diagnose and modify systems comprising inter-connected circuits.

  • Electronic service means the electronic service provided by the Comptroller under section 8A(1);

  • Electronic terminal means an elec- tronic device, other than a telephone operated by a consumer, through which a consumer may initiate an electronic fund transfer. The term includes, but is not limited to, point-of-sale terminals, automated teller machines, and cash dispensing machines.

  • Electronic Services means a service provided by us, for example an Internet trading service offering clients access to information and trading facilities, via an internet service, a WAP service and/or an electronic order routing system.

  • Electronic mail service provider (EMSP) means any person who (i) is an intermediary in sending

  • Electronic nicotine delivery system or “(ENDS)” means any device that delivers a vaporized solution (including nicotine, THC, or any other substance) by means of cartridge or other chemical delivery systems. ENDS are not FDA-approved nicotine replacement therapy devices.

  • Electronic Ticket means the Itinerary/Receipt issued by us or on our behalf, the Electronic Coupons and, if applicable, a boarding document.

  • Electronic ballot means a ballot that is recorded using a direct electronic voting

  • Electronic smoking device means any product containing or delivering nicotine or any other substance intended for human consumption that can be used by a person in any manner for the purpose of inhaling vapor or aerosol from the product. The term includes any such device, whether manufactured, distributed, marketed, or sold as an e-cigarette, e-cigar, e-pipe, e-hookah, or vape pen, or under any other product name or descriptor.

  • direct electronic access means an arrangement where a member or participant or client of a trading venue permits a person to use its trading code so the person can electronically transmit orders relating to a financial instrument directly to the trading venue and includes arrangements which involve the use by a person of the infrastructure of the member or participant or client, or any connecting system provided by the member or participant or client, to transmit the orders (direct market access) and arrangements where such an infrastructure is not used by a person (sponsored access);

  • Bona Fide Electronic Road Show means a “bona fide electronic road show” (as defined in Rule 433(h)(5) under the Securities Act) that the Company has made available without restriction by “graphic means” (as defined in Rule 405 under the Securities Act) to any person.

  • Electronic Interface means access to operations support systems consisting of preordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair and billing functions.

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) indicator means a four-character suffix to the unique entity identifier. The suffix is assigned at the discretion of the commercial, nonprofit, or Government entity to establish additional System for Award Management records for identifying alternative EFT accounts (see subpart 32.11) for the same entity.

  • Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS) means the Governmentwide, electronic, web-based system for small business subcontracting program reporting. The eSRS is located at http://www.esrs.gov.

  • Electronic Waste or “E-Waste” means “Covered Electronic Wastes” as defined in Act (Section 42463 of Public Resources Code) including discarded electronic equipment such as, but not limited to, television sets, computer monitors, central processing units (CPUs), laptop computers, and peripherals (e.g., external computer hard drives, computer keyboards, computer mice, and computer printers).

  • Electronic Ledger means the electronic master record of the retail installment sales contracts or installment loans of the Servicer.

  • Electronic Submission means a successful submittal of Offeror’s proposal.

  • Electronic act means the creation or transmission originated on or off the schoolsite, by means of an electronic device, including, but not limited to, a telephone, wireless telephone, or other wireless communication device, computer, or pager, of a communication, including, but not limited to, any of the following:

  • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility Standards means the accessibility standards for electronic and information resources contained in Title 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 213.

  • Electronic PHI means PHI created, received, maintained or transmitted electronically in accordance with 45 CFR § 160.103.

  • electronic communications service means a service normally provided for remuneration which consists wholly or mainly in the conveyance of signals on electronic communications networks, including telecommunications services and transmission services in networks used for broadcasting, but exclude services providing, or exercising editorial control over, content transmitted using electronic communications networks and services; it does not include information society services, as defined in Article 1 of Directive 98/34/EC, which do not consist wholly or mainly in the conveyance of signals on electronic communications networks;

  • Electronic seal means data in electronic form, which is attached to or logically associated with other data in electronic form to ensure the latter’s origin and integrity;

  • Electronic Facility means without limitation, website addresses and conference call systems, and any device, system, procedure, method or other facility whatsoever providing an electronic means of venue for a general meeting of the Company.

  • Electronic cigarette means any oral device that provides a vapor of liquid nicotine, lobelia, and/or other similar substance, and the use or inhalation of which simulates smoking. The term shall include any such devices, whether they are manufactured, distributed, marketed, or sold as e-cigarettes, e-cigars, e-pipes, or under another product name or descriptor.

  • Electronic prescription means a written prescription that is generated on an electronic application and is transmitted to a pharmacy as an electronic data file; Schedule II through V prescriptions shall be transmitted in accordance with 21 C.F.R. Part 1300.

  • Telecommunications service provider means that term as defined in Section 219a of the Michigan Penal Code, supra, as may be amended from time to time. As of January 2012, "Telecommunications Service Provider" is defined to mean any of the following:

  • Electronic Payment System means a payment system that generates any transfer of funds, other than a transaction originated by cash, check, or similar paper instrument, which is initiated through an electronic terminal, telephone, mobile phone, computer, or magnetic tape, for the purpose of ordering, instructing or authorizing a financial institution to debit or credit an account. The term includes debit cards, wire transfers, transfers made at automatic teller machines, and point-of-sale terminals.
