Eligible High School Courses. (Dual Enrollment only) means curriculum of English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, career, technical, agricultural or elective courses that could be used to satisfy graduation requirements and are identified in the Dual Enrollment Course Directory.

  • Participating School District As used in Exhibit G and other Exhibits to the DPA, the term Participating School District shall mean a New York State educational agency, as that term is defined in Education Law Section 2-d, that obtains access to the Services through a CoSer agreement with LEA, and shall include LEA if it uses the Services in its own educational or operational programs.

  • Intrascholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete with students from within the same school.

  • Participating student means a student who has been determined to be

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.

  • School grounds means in, or on the grounds of, a school.

  • School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).

  • Participating Countries means, collectively, all such countries.”

  • Seat Belt means a properly installed:

  • Participating Merchant means a Merchant that offers the Online Payment Service as an online payment option on the Merchant’s website.

  • Qualified high-technology business means a business that is either of the following:

  • School campus means all areas of the property under the jurisdiction of the school that are accessible to students during the school day.

  • Participating Country’ means any country that the Association determines meets the requirements set forth in Section 11 of Resolution No. 194 of the Board of Governors of the Association, adopted on April 8, 1999; and ‘Participating Countries’ means, collectively, all such countries."; and (b) The second sentence of Section 5.01 is modified to read: "Except as the Borrower and the Association shall otherwise agree, no withdrawals shall be made: (a) on account of expenditures in the territories of any country which is not a Participating Country or for goods produced in, or services supplied from, such territories; or (b) for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Association, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations." Section 1.02. Unless the context otherwise requires, the several terms defined in the General Conditions and in the Preamble to this Agreement have the respective meanings therein set forth and the following additional terms have the following meanings:

  • Stopover means a scheduled stop on your journey, at a point between the place of departure and the place of destination.

  • Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.

  • Public school employer means a public employer that is the board of a school district, intermediate school district, or public school academy; is the chief executive officer of a school district in which a school reform board is in place under part 5A of the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.371 to 380.376; or is the governing board of a joint endeavor or consortium consisting of any combination of school districts,

  • Participating Hospital means an Administrator Hospital that has an agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide Hospital services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program.

  • Prime Recipient means a Colorado State agency or institution of higher education that receives an Award.

  • Collaborative lawyer means a lawyer who represents a party in a collaborative law process.

  • Participating Pharmacy means a pharmacy that has entered into a prescription drug plan agreement with the Pharmacy Benefit Manager listed on your identification card.

  • the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);

  • Backsiphonage means the flow of water or other liquids, mixtures or substances into the potable water system from any source other than its intended source, caused by the reduction of pressure in the potable water system.

  • District and high school graduation rate means the annual completion and pupil dropout rate that is calculated by the center pursuant to nationally recognized standards.
