EU Procurement Directive definition

EU Procurement Directive means the European Union Directive which sets out the procedural rules for the co-ordination of procurement and the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts as are based on the EU Treaty Principles;
EU Procurement Directive means the European Union Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC which set out detailed procedural rules for the co-ordination of procurements for the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts which are based on the principles outlined in the EC Treaty and which are intended to support the single market by harmonising procedures.
EU Procurement Directive means the European legislative framework for public procurement in force at the time a procurement process is entered into.

  • Such cases should be reviewed annually and a written record of the decision (with reasons) to either extend the contract or carry out a new competitive tendering exercise must be kept (contracts may be subject to other term restrictions under the EU Procurement Directive).

  • Under the EU Procurement Directive, the officer must submit a Contract Notice to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

  • Any Exemption granted over the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) Threshold approves only the anticipated non-compliance with the Council’s Procedures and does not mitigate the risks associated with non-compliance with the Regulations or the European Union (EU) Procurement Directive as applicable.

  • Short Listing will be applicable if the Council is using the restricted procedure, as outlined in the EU Procurement Directive.

  • It must be noted that whilst certain categories of contract are exempt from the Contract Standing Orders, they are not exempt from the application of the EU Procurement Directive or Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations where these apply and all stated exemptions from Contract Standing Orders are subject to the proviso that such exemption is within the statutory powers of the Council and does not contravene any national, UK or EU legislation.

  • Where the EU Procurement Directive is required the Officer shall seek advice from the Procurement Advisor to determine the method of conducting the purchase.

  • Mis-procurement means public procurement in contravention of any provision of Sindh Public Procurement Act, 2010, any rule, regulation, order or instruction made thereunder or any other law in respect thereof, or relating to, public procurement;

  • Procurement Committee means a Committee constituted by the Employer to perform the functions as such under the terms and conditions of Contract.

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.

  • Change Directive means a written order signed by the procurement officer that

  • Procurement item means a supply, a service, Custom Deliverable, construction, or technology that Contractor is required to deliver to the Eligible User under this Contract.

  • Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.

  • Procurement Guidelines means the “Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and XXX Credits” published by the Bank in May 2004 and revised in October, 2006.

  • Council Directive means Council Directive 89/552/EEC of 3 October 1989 on the co-ordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the pursuit of television broadcasting activities as amended by Directive 97/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 1997 and by Directive 2007/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2007. A simplified and codified version of these Directives was introduced in 2010: the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2010/13/EU.

  • Advance directive means a document that contains a health care instruction or a power of attorney for health care.

  • Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means an instrument satisfactory to the Association, prepared and adopted by the Recipient and dated February 5, 2010 outlining the process for management of the environmental and social aspects of the Project as the same may be amended from time to time with the Association’s prior written concurrence.

  • Senior procurement executive means, for DoD—

  • Procurement Policy Board or “PPB” shall mean the board established pursuant to Charter § 311 whose function is to establish comprehensive and consistent procurement policies and rules which have broad application throughout the City.

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • Usage directions means the text or graphics on the product's principal display panel, label, or accompanying literature which describes to the end user how and in what quantity the product is to be used.

  • Construction Change Directive means a written order prepared by Owner Parties and signed by Owner directing Contractor to perform a change in the Work prior to agreeing to a change, if any, to the Contract Time, schedule of performance of the Work, Contract Sum, or Contractor’s compensation.

  • Quality Assurance Program means the overall quality program and associated activities including the Department’s Quality Assurance, Design-Builder Quality Control, the Contract’s quality requirements for design and construction to assure compliance with Department Specifications and procedures.

  • Procurement Management means the Director of Lee County’s Procurement Management Department or designee.

  • Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;

  • TO Procurement Officer meansTO Procurement Officer. The Agency may change the TO Procurement Officer at any time by written notice to the TO Contractor.

  • Procurement Process means the process commenced by the issuing of this Invitation and concluding upon the award of a contract (or other outcome as determined by Tetra Tech International Development) or upon the earlier termination of the process

  • Procurement Manager means any person or designee authorized by a state agency or local public body to enter into or administer contracts and make written determinations with respect thereto.
