European Production Order definition

European Production Order means a binding decision by an issuing authority of a Member State compelling a service provider offering services in the Union and established or represented in another Member State, to produce electronic evidence;
European Production Order means a decision, issued or validated by a judicial authority of a Member State in application of Article 4(1), (2), (4) and 5, addressed to a designated establishment or a legal representative of a service provider offering services in the Union located in another Member State bound by this Regulation to produce electronic evidence.

  • If the issuing authority intends to uphold the European Production Order, it shall request a review by the competent court in its Member State.
