Extortion claim definition

Extortion claim means any claim in the form of a threat or connected series of threats to commit an intentional computer attack against the Insured’s computer system, including, without limitation, a threat to intentionally introduce, implant or spread a computer virus into or from the Insured’s computer system and/or releasing sensitive information gained from unauthorized access to the Insured’s computer system to others who may misuse the data, for the purpose of demanding extortion monies.
