Extra Time definition

Extra Time. Time worked above the base route hours that does not exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. “Extra Time” may also be referred to as “straight time”.
Extra Time means an additional 20 (twenty) minutes, divided into 2 (two) halves of 10 (ten) minutes each with a 1 (one) minute break in between each half, to be played after Playing Time;

  • There shall be a straight turn around between the two halves of Extra Time.

  • No claim for Extra Time under this provision will be valid (and will be deemed to have been waived) unless submitted in strict accordance with the requirements set forth herein.

  • Teams will have 5 minutes break and swap ends to play Extra Time.

  • If the match is still drawn at the end of Extra Time the match shall be determined by a Penalty Shootout, as per FIFA’s laws of the game.


More Definitions of Extra Time

Extra Time shall be defined as minutes offered to a Food Service employee to accommodate an absence of another contracted staff employee. Based on the information from the “floatation” chart and the building seniority/rotation list, the Food Service Director will fill a vacancy of an absent employee with a contracted employee and then call a qualified food service substitute to fill in for the vacancy of the floated contracted employee.
Extra Time herein used shall refer to hours worked beyond an employee's normal annualized hours.
Extra Time is time required to be worked by a part-time unit member in excess of the unit member’s regular daily and/or weekly work schedule, but less than the daily and/or weekly work schedule of a full-time unit member.
